The
proper implementation of an effective Safety Program has
been proven to reduce the frequency and severity of
accidents, lower insurance premiums, result in a more
stable employee base, and increase productivity. The
ACS Compliance Management System (CMS) is a
comprehensive offering of workplace safety services. A
total solution by design, the CMS is essentially an
outsourced safety department.
We
tailor the CMS program to your business needs and our
professionals work with you, at your location, focused
on your specific safety needs. It is designed to
provide a sufficient number of onsite visits to achieve
your goals for a safe and compliant workplace within a
reasonable period of time, and then to maintain that
level in the years to come. Each onsite visit may
include targeted safety inspections, employee training,
and/or other services based on your needs and time
constraints. You can add or reduce the number of onsite
visits as your needs or budget varies. In addition to
the time spent onsite, ACS will continue to work for you
behind the scenes with additional support services.
The
CMS program is generally a multi-year contract agreement
which covers, as appropriate, the following:
Targeted Safety Inspections:
These
periodic evaluations assess your regulatory compliance
position with an OSHA-type physical inspection of your
operations. It is used to verify that your health and
safety procedures and practices are adequate and are
being followed.
Employee Training
Employee training is an integral part of a company’s
overall safety program and is a core component of the
CMS. ACS offers a wide variety of hands-on, site-based
safety topics to meet your training needs and are
designed to help you comply with the latest OSHA
regulations. ACS covers key health and safety topics
including (but not limited to):
|
|
-
Emergency
Action & Fire Prevention
-
Respiratory
Protection & Fit Testing
-
Forklift
Operator Safety
-
Confined
Space Entry
-
CPR/AED
|
In
addition to OSHA, we can help you meet other training
requirements for regulatory agencies such as EPA and
DOT.
Review and Update Written Safety Plans
In the
first year of your CMS, ACS will develop as set of
written safety plans applicable to your company. Each
year, your Account Manager reviews these plans and makes
revisions as needed. In addition, anytime you determine
the need for a change, such as change of personnel
responsible for a particular written safety plan, ACS
will make the necessary updates at your request.
Lending Library
The CMS
also provides you access to our lending library to
enhance your training program. The library contains
training packages that include audio-visual resources
and documentation information on specific safety
training topics.
OSHA Consultation & Support
As part
of your CMS, if for any reason OSHA or any other
regulatory agency inspects or audits your facility, ACS
will guide you through the inspection, provide
telephonic consultative services and prepare strategies
for negotiation and reduction of fees (additional
charges may apply).
