companies), now offers an Online Training System as part
of our CMS Safety Program in place of onsite employee
safety training. With the ACS/LearningSpan system,
employees can receive training on demand...
anytime...and at their own pace. The courses also
increase information retention by directly involving
employees in the learning process.
Using a
powerful combination of audio, full-motion video, text,
and colorful graphics, courses in online library are
based on based on the award-winning Interactive CD-ROM
courses developed by The MARCOM Group, LTD. With over
100 courses currently available, the MARCOM library is
the largest online safety and regulatory compliance
training library in the industry. Each course is 30 to
45 minutes long, depending on the topic. Courses are
divided into a number of logical sections, each with its
own quiz and test...so information is easily understood
and retained. (All courses available in English. Many
courses available in Spanish.)
Since the courses are "video-rich", you
must have some type of high-speed connection to the
Internet, such as a T-1 line, cable modem, or higher
speed DSL or ISDN line, to play the courses
satisfactorily.
The
online training system includes the use of
LearningSpan’s comprehensive Learning Management System
(LMS) which allows administrators to view and print
reports on employee progress and performance.
